Occasionally, you may receive a wage garnishment order with respect to one of your employees. The order will require you to deduct a specific amount from their paycheck and remit those funds to a State Disbursement Unit (SDU).

Justworks handles garnishments easily, automatically and at no additional charge. However, in order for Justworks to process the order, it must come to Justworks directly and list Justworks' EIN. Until Justworks receives the garnishment order, we legally cannot take any action towards the deduction. Once we do receive the order, our support team will inform the admin of the company and we will begin withholding until we receive further government notice. Please reach out to support@justworks.com if you have more questions.
