The Justworks mobile app makes it easy for managers to view and approve their direct reports’ paid time off (PTO) requests.
How does it work
As soon as one of your direct reports requests PTO you will receive a push notification via the mobile app (if you’re enrolled in push notifications). You can open a PTO request in two ways:
- Tapping the push notification on your mobile device. This will redirect you to the PTO request in the Justworks mobile app.
- Logging into the Justworks mobile app and tapping the bell icon on the screen's top right.
Once you’ve opened the PTO request, you can review the details and either approve or deny the request.
Like the desktop experience, you have the option to send notes to the employee and to admins with your response.
After you approve or deny the PTO request, a notification banner will appear at the top of the page confirming the outcome. In addition, your direct reports will receive an email notifying them of your response, and they can view the status of their request in the Time Off section of the Justworks mobile app as well.
