This article is for all employers using Justworks.
Overview
Justworks makes it easy for partners to refer businesses that could benefit from our payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions. You can submit a referral through our Partner Referral Portal (PRM), email, or Slack—whichever works best for you.
Once submitted, our team will connect with the client, guide them through their options, and support them through onboarding. You can stay as involved as you choose throughout the process.
How Do I Make a Referral?
Making a referral to Justworks is simple and flexible. Whether you want to submit their information through the system, or introduce us directly to your client, we’ll handle the process while keeping you informed.
You have three options for making a referral, depending on your preference:
1. Submit Through the Partner Referral Portal (Recommended)
The primary method of submitting referrals is doing so through the partner portal. This ensures the client is tracked under your partnership, and you can monitor referral progress (as well as access corresponding commission statements related to your referrals).
How to get set up in the PRM:
- When you sign the Partner Terms & Conditions, you'll receive an email that includes a personalized link to create a PRM login
- If you are unable to find this link, please reach out to your Partner Manager
- You can share your PRM username/password with your colleagues, or request additional PRM logins
To submit through PRM:
- Log into the Partner Referral Portal.
- Click Submit a Referral and enter the client’s basic details.
-
Referral Company Name
-
Referral Company Billing Zip Code
-
Referral Company’s Primary Contact’s First Name
-
Referral Company’s Primary Contact’s Last Name
-
Email of Primary Contact
-

-

-
- Our team will reach out within 24 hours to start the conversation.
2. Warm Introduction
Another recommended method of referring a client is to introduce them to Justworks via email. Simply copy your Partner Manager in an introduction email to the client, and we’ll take it from there. We also always recommend giving your Partner Manager a call to discuss a potential referral!
3. Email or Slack Your Partnerships Manager
If you prefer, you can send the client’s name and contact information to your Justworks Partnerships Manager via email or Slack, and they’ll follow up directly.
