Setting up your Tipalti Account
When your first commission payment is ready to be processed, you’ll receive an email invitation with a secure link to set up your Tipalti account. You’ll need to provide your ACH and tax information to enable payments. Please note that you will only receive a Tipalti invitation if you have a commission payment scheduled for processing. Additionally, if you do not set up your Tipalti account at all, then you will not receive any commission payments.

Receiving your Commission Payment
Once your commission payment has been processed, you’ll receive an email notification. Please allow up to 2 business days for the payment to be reflected in your bank account. Please also note that a payment will sit in the system as unpaid until you log in and complete/update your account.
If a payment fails to process, Tipalti will notify you via email. You will need to log-in and update your bank account information to receive your payment in the next payment cycle. Alternatively, you can contact accountspayableteam@justworks.com to update the account information on your behalf.
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I expect to receive my commission payment for a referred customer?
Referral payments are paid out 60 days in arrears and based on the customer’s start date with Justworks, not the date they were referred. In simpler terms, you will be paid out for a referral two months from the customer’s start date. For example, if a referred client started with Justworks on March 1st, you can expect to receive payment by mid-May.

What if I have not received an invite to Tipalti yet?
Tipalti access will only be provided to those Partners who have a pending commission payment. If no payments are due, then a Tipalti invite will not be sent. Please also note that we cannot provide early access to the system.
If you have not received an email notifying you to set up your Tipalti account (first referral) or have not been notified of an available payment by the end of the third week of the month, please contact Partner Support at partner-support@justworks.com, or your Partner Manager.
How can I update my banking information?
You are able to login to your Tipalti account at any time to update your banking/tax information accordingly. If you experience any trouble doing so, please contact accountspayableteam@justworks.com and they can update information for you.
