Our company was previously on a PEO, what do we do?
Communicate your Justworks start date with your previous PEO and follow the below outlined steps starting with the Joint Business Registration Form.
Our company is new to Wyoming, what do we do?
All businesses new or who have employees working in Wyoming must complete the Joint Business Registration Form. Information needed for registration includes:
- Mailing and physical addresses for company headquarters and Wyoming work locations
- Contact information
- Type of ownership (sole owner, partnership, corporation, etc.)
- Hire date, estimated payroll, specific information about the business owners
- Type of product or service you provide
Through this joint registration, your company is given a new account number under Justworks PEO account. Because of this, please reach out to Justworks directly for a pre-filled registration form.
Once the form is completed, please return the form to Justworks for review. We can then send it to the state your company's registration on your behalf.
Once processed (4-6 weeks), your company will receive a written determination from the state.
If you’re having trouble completing any online account setup process, please contact the state’s customer service line for assistance.
Businesses headquartered outside of Wyoming
Customers headquartered outside of Wyoming must complete both the joint registration and an Out of-State-Questionnaire. The questionnaire must be submitted by mail or fax (online submission not available). Please reach out to Justworks to be sent the most updated questionnaire.
