After joining the Justworks family, Boomr is now becoming Justworks Hours. Boomr will continue being the best-in-class time tracking service you know and love, just with a new name.
Why is the name changing?
Boomr is changing its name to better showcase what they do: best-in-class time tracking for you and your team. After Boomr’s acquisition by Justworks, the team is spending even more time and resources on streamlining important business functions like time tracking, payroll and invoice reporting, and more, so you can focus on what matters most: growing your business and taking care of your team. The new name will help stand for what you are already doing with our product, saving hours of work each month and finishing payroll with confidence.
When will the name change happen?
We will be changing the name from Boomr to Justworks Hours in early July. If you are an existing customer of Boomr, you and your employees will receive an email notifying you of the change.
What will I have to start doing differently?
Online
We’ll automatically redirect you from the old web pages to the new ones, so you can keep navigating to the same page to sign-in. If you want, you can save the new website link: hours.justworks.com.
Mobile
The mobile app name will change to Justworks Hours (Formerly Boomr) on Android devices and Justworks Hours (Boomr) on Apple devices. You will not need to download a new mobile app, and can continue using the existing app. Eventually, the app will just be called Justworks Hours on all devices.
Slack
The slack app name will change to Justworks Hours (Formerly Boomr). Eventually, the app will just be called Justworks Hours.
Integrations
All integrations will be renamed to Justworks Hours (Formerly Boomr). Eventually, all integrations will just be called Justworks Hours.
It’s the middle of July, but my mobile app still says Boomr instead of Justworks Hours. Is something wrong?
In most cases, the Justworks Hours (formerly Boomr) app will update automatically with the new name and icon. Depending on your mobile settings, you may have to install the updates manually to get the latest version of the app.
Is the Boomr product changing?
No, the product won't be affected by our name change.
What about Boomr’s integrations with payroll and HR providers?
Justworks Hours is continuing to support all of Boomr's payroll, accounting, and HR system integrations, including providers like QuickBooks Online and BambooHR.
