What is Kindbody?

Their doctors are here to help you— and your eligible spouse and children 18+ — with everything from annual check-ups and UTIs to egg freezing, IVF, and support with adoption, donors, and surrogacy.

Service Questions
What if I don’t want to start a family right now?
Kindbody offers a full spectrum of services beyond family planning. If you’re in-network with them, you can take advantage of their gynecology services which include everything from annual check-ups to menopause support.
Examples of when you can reach out to Kindbody outside of the family building:
- You have a UTI or yeast infection
- You want to talk about getting on birth control vs. other contraception options
- You’re concerned about a potential STI
- Your periods are irregular or painful
- You have PCOS, Endometriosis, or Fibroids
- And so much more
Even if you’re not looking to start a family now, you may still choose to talk to a doctor about your fertility if you think you may want to build a family down the line. For example, Kindbody also offers fertility preservation services, like egg freezing.
Does Kindbody provide services for queer couples and transgender individuals?
Yes! Kindbody’s mission is to make family building a reality for everyone regardless of sexual orientation, relationship status, or gender identity. Therefore, they support all genders and paths to parenthood, including adoption, donor, and surrogacy, and have providers trained on the unique needs specific to the LGBTQ+ community.
Are there specialists for male fertility issues?
Yes! Kindbody’s male fertility specialists are uniquely trained to assess and evaluate male fertility-related issues.
I saw on Kindbody’s website that they currently aren’t accepting new gynecology patients — is this true for Justworks members?
No! Justworks members can still use Kindbody’s gynecology services; simply book an appointment from your patient portal after signing up.
Clinic Locations
Where are the Kindbody clinics located?
Kindbody has clinics conveniently located across the country, with plans to open more offices. Current city locations include: Atlanta, Aurora, Austin, Bentonville, Century City, Chicago, Crest Hill, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Glenview, Geneva, Hoffman Estates, Houston, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, New York City, O’Fallon, Orlando, Portland, Princeton, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Silicon Valley, St Louis, Swansea, and Washington DC.
Can I still use Kindbody if I’m not located near a clinic?
Absolutely! Regardless of where you’re located, you can take advantage of Kindbody’s virtual consultations, which include ongoing support for adoption and donor services and coaching sessions on wellness topics like meditation, mental health, nutrition, doula support, lactation guidance, return-to-work, sleep training, and more.
There are also virtual events, support groups, and educational resources, no matter where you are in your wellness journey.
Pricing
How much does Kindbody cost?
Kindbody is on a mission to make best-in-class care accessible for all. And that starts with offering competitive rates. There is no membership fee, and they’re in-network with most insurance plans through Justworks PEO, so your normal copay and deductible will apply.
The Care Navigators at Kindbody can look into your specific plan and tell you exactly how much each service will cost so there are no surprises. Just message them in the patient portal or email employeebenefits@kindbody.com.
To get a better idea of the ballpark, employees can check out their cash rates here — just know that prices will vary, especially since those rates don’t take into account what insurance will cover, and remember that because you’re a Justworks member, you’ll also save 20% on services not billed through insurance.
How do I pay for services?
Any out-of-pocket expenses will be paid directly to Kindbody at the time of receiving the service. Kindbody is in-network with most insurance carriers for standard OB-GYN health and preventative care services (for example, pap tests, assessments, etc.). Thus the related deductibles and co-pays apply. Justworks members can also enjoy 20% off Kindbody services not billed through insurance, and there is no membership fee. You can also pay using FSA/HSA dollars.
How do I know if a service is covered by insurance?
Kindbody is in-network with most Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare medical plans for standard OB-GYN health and preventative care services (for example, pap tests). Thus the related deductibles and co-pays apply. Some exceptions may apply.
Moreover, your Kindbody Care Navigator can look at your specific medical plan and tell you if a service is covered and the all-in cost you can expect to pay.
Eligibility + Enrollment
Who’s eligible for Kindbody?
You, your spouse/partner, and children 18+ can use Kindbody as long as you’re all actively enrolled in a medical plan through Justworks PEO, excluding Kaiser.
What if I’m no longer eligible for Kindbody?
If you are no longer eligible for the Kindbody benefit (e.g., you/ your partner are no longer employed by a company on Justworks), you can still continue using Kindbody. However, you will be responsible for the full cost of any treatment and/or the annual storage fee at Kindbody’s retail rates. Your Care Navigator can help you figure out the next steps and answer any questions you have.
How do I sign up?
Eligible members can enroll in Kindbody through your Justworks account under their Benefits tab here. The page will provide more information and the next steps on how to activate the benefit, including an access code.
