The Track Time section in Justworks Time Tracking will be where you, as an admin, will go to do the following actions:
- End open shifts on behalf of the employee, if needed
- Add shifts on behalf of the employee
- Edit shifts
- Approve shifts
- Delete Shifts
Track Time > Open Shifts will allow you to view all shifts that your employees are currently clocked into. On this page, you will be able to end the shift on behalf of your employees if needed.
Please note: You will not be able to edit any shifts that are open. To edit a shift on behalf of the employee, you or the employee will first need to end the shift.
To end a shift on behalf of an employee, you will go to Track Time > Open Shifts > Click the check box next to the shift > Click the blue “End Shift” button.
Track Time > Completed Shifts will allow you to view all completed shifts by your employees. On this page, you will be able to edit shifts, add shifts and approve shifts for your employees.
To add a shift on behalf of an employee, you will go to Track Time > Completed Shifts > Add New Shift > Fill Out the shift details > Click “Save” if you’d like to approve it later or “Save and Approve” if you’d like to approve the shift on the spot.
To edit a completed shift, you will go to Track Time > Completed Shifts > Click on the shift you would like to edit > Once the shift details screen appears, you will be able to amend any field that you wish to change > Click “Save” if you’d like to approve it later or “Save and Approve” if you’d like to approve the shift on the spot.
