Understanding Forecasted Invoices
When reviewing your upcoming invoices in Justworks, you'll notice they are labeled as estimates. These forecasted invoices give you an overview of expected costs, but it’s important to understand that certain factors can cause the final invoice to differ from these estimates.
At the top of the invoice page, you’ll find important context and a deadline for scheduling additional payments or making edits.
However, the following elements can impact the final details of your invoice:
Additional Employee Payments: Any new payments scheduled for your employees, such as bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, will affect the total amount due.
New Employees Being Onboarded: If new employees are onboarded after the estimate is generated, their associated costs will be added to the final invoice.
Fluctuations in Foreign Exchange Rates: For employees paid in local currencies other than your home currency, fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate can cause variations in the total amount due. Justworks calculates the exchange rate when the pay cycle is created, but significant changes in the market could affect the final invoice.
These factors can cause the forecasted invoice to vary from the actual invoice amount. It’s essential to keep these variables in mind and to monitor any updates to your payroll or employee roster that could impact your invoice. If you have any questions about the forecasted invoices or need to make adjustments, our support team is here to assist you.
