Our Kaiser Permanente plans offer coverage in the following regions:

  • Colorado
  • Northern CA
  • Southern CA
  • Georgia
  • Mid-Atlantic States (Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.)
  • Oregon
  • Hawaii

These plans do not offer national coverage, and therefore, any dependents on your plan who may not currently reside in one of these regions will not have access to Kaiser Permanente doctors or locations. Do note that emergency services are covered anywhere in the world.

We recommend utilizing Kaiser Permanente's Find Doctors and Locations tool to ensure your dependent lives in an area where Kaiser Permanente coverage is available.

If you are in one of the regions listed above, you also have the option to select an available Aetna plan which provides national coverage and ensures coverage across the country for your dependents.

If you or a dependent are traveling outside your home region and happen to be in another Kaiser Permanente region, you can still receive services at the local facilities. For any services rendered, you or your dependents would be expected to pay at your "home" plan's cost-sharing rate.  Please contact Kaiser Permanente for specific questions about coverage and rates outside of your home region.
