Benefit Details
What is Kindbody?
Kindbody is a gynecology, fertility, and family-building benefit that is reinventing the patient experience. Their doctors are here to help your employees — and their eligible spouse and children 18+ — with everything from annual check-ups and UTIs to egg freezing, IVF, and support with adoption, donors, and surrogacy.
Note: Employees can enjoy this offering simply because your company uses Justworks, at no extra cost to you.
Why Kindbody?
Offering Kindbody to your employees helps you:
Level up your benefits suite
Compete with big industry players to attract and retain talent; offer your team best-in-class care as they tackle major life milestones like ongoing health, fertility, pregnancy, adoption, or returning to work after becoming a parent.
Reduce health costs for employees — without paying a penny
Because Kindbody is a direct provider of care, they can offer prices lower than the norm. Plus, Justworks members can enjoy a 20% discount on Kindbody’s services not billable to insurance, so employees can get the care they need with less worry about the price tag.
Build an inclusive workplace
Kindbody offers culturally competent care regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, or relationship status so you can deliver on your DEIB initiatives and create a workspace that supports all employees; the benefit includes donor, adoption, and surrogacy support for single and LGBTQ+ employees, and 50% of Kindbody doctors identify as BIPOC.
Increase access to care
Whether your team is remote or in-person, your employees and their eligible dependents can access Kindbody wherever they are. With clinics in more than 25 cities around the country and convenient virtual services, there are options for nearly everyone.
What kind of services do they provide?
Gynecology
Employees can go to Kindbody for annual check-ups and for general preventative care. They got you covered for things like breast exams, pap smears, screenings, pelvic exams, and contraception. They can also help with ongoing support for issues like PCOS, Endometriosis, and Fibroids or for more urgent concerns like UTIs, yeast infections, irregular bleeding, and pelvic pain.
Before taking advantage of these types of services, employees can double-check with Kindbody and confirm that their medical plan is in-network.
Fertility and Family Planning
A full suite of services across all stages, from preconception to postpartum, as well as support for surrogacy, donor services, and adoption. People of all genders can go to Kindbody for fertility testing, IUI, IVF, sperm banking, egg freezing, embryo banking, annual storage, and genetic testing.
Kindbody360 Coaching Sessions
Additional resources to support you, no matter where you are in your health journey. Session topics range from nutrition coaching, mental health counseling, doula support, lactation guidance, sleep training, return to work, and more.
A Care Navigation Team
Once registered, employees will have access to a dedicated partner who can help guide them through their care journey. Care navigators can help employees understand what’s covered under their insurance plan and coordinate their appointments and treatment schedules as needed.

How does Kindbody work?
Kindbody works with most insurance plans like a typical doctor's office would, except employees get access to a lot more than they would at a regular doctor, including:
- prioritized visits for urgent-care issues
- on-demand chat with your care team
- discounted wellness services (mental health, nutrition)
- discounted supplements
- members-only events
*Kindbody's care navigators can work with your employees to understand what and how their specific plan covers certain services, if at all.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
Employers currently do not need to pay extra to offer Kindbody to their employees; it’s included in your package when you offer medical plans through Justworks PEO, excluding Kaiser.
For employees, Kindbody is in-network with most insurance carriers, and their care navigators can look into specific plans and estimate how much each service will cost so there are no surprises. Employees can simply message them in their patient portal or email employeebenefits@kindbody.com.
To get a better idea of the ballpark, employees can check out their cash rates here — just know that prices will vary, especially since those rates don’t take into account what insurance will cover, and remember that because they’re a Justworks member, they’ll also save 20% on services not covered by their medical plan.
How does an employee pay for services?
Any out-of-pocket expenses will be paid by the employee directly to Kindbody at the time of receiving the service. Kindbody is in-network with most medical plans for standard OB-GYN health and preventative care services (for example, pap tests, assessments, etc.). Thus the related deductibles and co-pays apply. Justworks members can also enjoy 20% off Kindbody services that are not billed to their medical plan, and there is no membership fee. Employees can also pay using FSA/HSA dollars.
Eligibility + Enrollment
Who’s eligible for Kindbody?
Employees and their spouse/partner and children 18+ can use Kindbody as long as they’re actively enrolled in a medical plan through Justworks PEO, excluding Kaiser.
How do employees sign up?
Eligible employees can enroll in Kindbody through their Justworks account under their Benefits tab. The page will provide more information and the next steps on how to activate the benefit, including an access code.
What can I do to help spread the word about Kindbody?
We’ll make sure your employees know about Kindbody, but there are lots of things you can do to encourage your employees to take advantage of these types of benefits. We recommend updating your recruitment materials and employee resources to include all of the great perks you offer through Justworks (because why not get credit where it’s due!). You can also share information about Kindbody during new hire orientations and have managers remind employees about the benefit when someone announces they’re taking parental leave. Lastly, check out Kindbody’s Resource Hub for upcoming events and content to promote internally.
