If it is your first time logging into your ConnectYourCare account for commuter, HSA, and/or FSA benefits you access through Justworks, you will first need to register for an account.
How do I register for my ConnectYourCare account?
You’ll only need to create a ConnectYourCare account once and you’ll manage your benefits from the same employee dashboard. However, the steps to register can slightly vary, so please follow the instructions below. Enrolling and registering your commuter benefit
Before setting up your ConnectYourCare accounts, you’ll need to enroll and set up your benefits in your Justworks account first.
Enrolling in commuter benefits on Justworks
Step 1: Login to Justworks and go to benefits on the left hand side.
Step 2: From there go to ancillary benefits at the top and then commuter. Select “Enroll.”
Step 3: Click on the “Enroll now for free.”
From there you will be taken to the ConnectYourCare registration screen to complete setting up your account and begin placing orders.
Registering your commuter ConnectYourCare
After you’ve completed setting up your benefits in your Justworks account you’ll be taken to the registration page.
If you already have a ConnectYourCare/Justworks benefit card from another benefit (FSA/HSA), you should activate your card and then input the card number along with the other requested fields and Submit Information.
If you do not already have a ConnectYourCare benefit card you should click the green link labeled "Access Commuter Benefits".
On this page you will be asked for your Social Security number, date of birth, and zip code in order to register your account.
Please be sure that the information you are inputting matches the information that is recorded in Justworks.
Enrolling and registering your FSA/HSA benefits
Enrolling in FSA or HSA on Justworks
Step 1: Login to Justworks and go to benefits on the left hand side.
Step 2: From there go to health benefits at the top and then Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account. Click “Enroll.”
Step 3: Complete the steps in setting up your contributions.
Step 4: You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to complete the ConnectYourCare registration process and setting up your account to begin managing your account.
NOTE: You can only sign up for an FSA during new hire open enrollment or during FSA open enrollment towards the end of the year. You can enroll in an HSA at any time if you are enrolled in a qualified high deductible healthcare plan.
Registering your ConnectYourCare FSA and or HSA
After you’ve completed setting up your benefits in your Justworks account and you’re ready to register for your ConnectYourCare account, you’ll be taken to the registration page.
You will be asked for your:
- Date of birth
- Last four digits of your Social Security number
- Zip code of your mailing address in Justworks
Please be sure that the information you are inputting matches the information that is recorded in Justworks.
The screen also includes a field for a payment card number and a checkbox that says My Account Does Not Have A Payment Card Associated With It.
If you have signed up for FSA or HSA benefits with ConnectYourCare:
- You will need to wait for your payment card to arrive in the mail before you can complete HSA/FSA registration. You should receive it within 5-7 business days of the start of your plan.*
- After you complete registration, you’ll be able to set up a username and password and place your order.

What if I already have a ConnectYourCare account?
If you already have an existing ConnectYourCare account from a previous employer you will still need to go through the new registration and set up a new account.
Any existing balances you may have from a previous employer that was not with Justworks should be spent down as it will not be able to transfer over to the Justworks account. If your previous and current employer both utilize Justworks, please contact us with assistance in transferring existing balances.
