Currency Selection - Onboarding for New International Contractors

Once an international contractor receives an invitation to onboard to the Justworks platform, they will be asked to create their profile and then prompted to enter their bank account information. They will then be given the option to either select to receive payments in their local currency (based on their country of residence) or USD (United States Dollar).

If they select to be paid in USD, they will then be promoted to select how they want to receive payments - either to a Digital wallet (like Wise) or to a U.S.-based bank. They will need to enter in the respective U.S.-based account number and routing number. They then need to select that they agree to Justworks’ International Payment Terms, and then select Save & Continue, and complete the onboarding process by verifying their identity.

Currency Selection - Updating Banking Information for Current International Contractors

For international contractors that are currently setup in Justworks and would like to switch to receiving USD. They can update their payment preferences by selecting the drop-down arrow next to their profile name in the platform then select Bank account, and follow the same process listed above.

Admin View - Paying an International Contractor that Selects to Receive USD Payments

Payments made to international contractors that have selected to be paid in USD will show a currency rate of 1.000. USD payments will populate on the right-hand side of the screen - admins need to then select Continue.

The admin can then review payment details in USD and then select Submit Payment.

Viewing Payments Received - International Contractors

International contractors can then view their payments in USD. *If the contractor has multiple payments in both their local currency and USD, both types of payments would be listed.
