For State Unemployment Insurance for some states you’ll need to work with Justworks while onboarding to understand the exact requirements for your company.
If you’re a new Justworks customer or in the process of onboarding you'll be provided with instruction on how to move forward with unemployment accounts. To enable a smooth onboarding experience if you’re a new customer, please make sure you have your account number, current unemployment rate, and login information handy. You can ask your current provider for this information or work with the states directly.
If you’re a current Justworks customer with a new employee in one of these states, our internal team may be in touch if something is needed from you, otherwise we’ll move forward with setting up an account on behalf of your company.
This information will either be in your portal on the Justworks Platform or our team will be in touch to collect information and provide next steps.
