This article is about Justworks PEO. What product am I using?

Overview

Justworks' LinkedIn integration allows you to automatically publish jobs created in Justworks ATS to LinkedIn using LinkedIn's data feed. Candidates who discover your jobs on LinkedIn are directed to the Justworks application page, where they can complete their application. Once submitted, their application is automatically added to the corresponding job in Justworks ATS.

How to Set Up the Integration

To connect your LinkedIn account to Justworks, first log in to your Justworks account and navigate to Company settings > Integrations. Under the Hiring category, select LinkedIn.

From here, click Get started.

Once you select Get started, Justworks will generate and provide you with a unique XML feed URL for your company.

You'll then use this URL and follow the steps listed when configuring LinkedIn Recruiter.

Configuring Linkedin Recruiter

After obtaining your XML feed URL from Justworks, complete the following steps in LinkedIn Recruiter:

  1. As an Admin, navigate to Product Settings.
  2. Select Job Posting from the left navigation.
  3. Under ATS Sources for Automated Job Postings, select View/Edit.
  4. Select Add new ATS source.
  5. From the Select your ATS dropdown, choose LinkedIn Jobs XML.
  6. Paste your Justworks XML feed URL into the Job source URL field.
  7. Select the LinkedIn Company Page that should own the jobs.
  8. Select Add source.

LinkedIn reviews and validates your data feed before your jobs begin appearing on LinkedIn. Once validation is complete, you'll receive confirmation from LinkedIn that your jobs are eligible for publishing.

Before enabling the integration

Before enabling the LinkedIn integration, keep the following in mind:

  • All jobs that are currently published in Justworks ATS, along with any jobs you publish in the future, will automatically be distributed to Linkedin.
  • Individual jobs cannot be excluded from distribution. Once the integration is enabled, all published jobs are included.
  • If your company already has jobs posted directly on Linkedin, we recommend removing any duplicate postings after publishing the same role through Justworks ATS. This helps prevent duplicate job listings and ensures candidates are tracked through Justworks ATS.
  • Applications submitted to jobs originally posted directly on Linkedin will continue to be managed in Linkedin and will not appear in Justworks ATS. Only applications submitted through jobs published from Justworks ATS are tracked in your hiring pipeline.

How the integration works

Once your integration is configured, and validation has been complete, all currently published jobs, as well as any jobs you publish in the future through Justworks ATS, are automatically added to your company's LinkedIn data feed. Every six hours, LinkedIn imports jobs from this feed and publishes them to LinkedIn Jobs, allowing candidates to discover your open roles through LinkedIn.

Candidates who select Apply are directed to the Justworks-hosted application page, and once they submit their application, their information is automatically added to the corresponding job in Justworks ATS.

Because LinkedIn imports jobs using an data feed, changes made in Justworks ATS—including job edits and closed jobs—are not reflected on LinkedIn immediately. LinkedIn refreshes data feeds on a recurring six hour schedule, so updates will appear after the next scheduled import.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can set up the LinkedIn integration?
Any Justworks admin with the Manage Employees permission can set up the LinkedIn integration. To complete the setup, the admin must also have access to their company's LinkedIn Recruiter account with the permissions required to configure ATS job sources.

What type of LinkedIn account do I need to use the integration?
You must have a Recruiter Corporate, Recruiter Professional Services Plus (RPS+), or Recruiter Professional Services account. A Recruiter Lite account won’t work.

How long does it take for jobs to appear on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn imports jobs from the data  feed on a recurring 6 hour schedule. New jobs, edits, and closed jobs may take up to approximately six hours to appear on LinkedIn after they're published or updated in Justworks.

Do candidates apply directly on LinkedIn?
No. Candidates who click Apply on LinkedIn are redirected to the Justworks application page to complete their application. Once submitted, their application is automatically added to the corresponding job in Justworks ATS.

Will updates to my job automatically sync to LinkedIn?
Yes. Changes made in Justworks ATS—including edits and job closures—are automatically reflected on LinkedIn after LinkedIn's next scheduled data feed refresh, which typically occurs every six hours.

Are all jobs published in Justworks ATS automatically posted to LinkedIn once the integration is set up?
Yes. Once the LinkedIn integration is configured, all open jobs published in Justworks ATS are automatically posted to LinkedIn. At this time, individual jobs cannot be excluded from LinkedIn distribution.

Why isn't my job showing on LinkedIn?
There may be several reasons a job may not appear on LinkedIn, including:

  • The data feed has not yet been refreshed.
  • Required job information is missing.
  • The job does not meet LinkedIn's posting requirements.
  • LinkedIn is still validating your XML feed.

If your issue persists after the expected refresh window, contact Justworks Support.

Is there a fee to use the integration?
The Justworks LinkedIn integration is included with Justworks ATS. However, your organization needs an eligible LinkedIn Recruiter subscription to configure automated job posting.

Can I disconnect the integration?
Yes. Navigate to Settings > Integrations, select LinkedIn, and choose Disconnect.
