What are Pet Benefits?

Justworks has partnered with Wagmo to offer pet benefits that can help your team manage the cost of caring for their pets. Whether they need help with everyday preventive care or want protection against unexpected veterinary costs, Wagmo provides flexible options that start with a foundation of routine wellness.

Who is eligible for Pet Benefits?

Full-time employees
Part-time employees
Paid owners

Note: Contractors, unpaid owners, interns/temps, vendors, and international employees are not eligible for this benefit.

Understanding Your Options: Wellness vs. Insurance

To ensure pets get comprehensive care, Wagmo offers two types of pet benefit plans:

Pet Wellness (Required Foundation)

Purpose: Routine and preventive care, designed to keep your pet healthy.
What's included (not limited to): Routine exams, vaccines, routine bloodwork, grooming, flea/tick prevention, and dental care (depending on the plan type).

Pet Insurance (Optional Additional Protection)

Purpose: Protection from bigger, unexpected vet bills due to accidents and illnesses.
What's included (not limited to): Emergency visits, surgeries, hospitalizations, cancer treatments, and eligible illnesses and injuries.
Important: Members must enroll in one of the three Wellness plans to qualify for the Wagmo Insurance add-on. You cannot enroll in an Insurance plan without first enrolling in a Wellness plan.

Pricing and Discounts

Eligible employees receive a 10% discount on Wagmo Wellness plans, with no state restrictions. Employees also receive a 10% discount on optional Insurance add-ons, though this discount is not available in certain states.

Wagmo offers three Wellness plan tiers (prices below include the 10% Justworks discount):

Value: $23/month (originally $25)
Classic: $41/month (originally $45)
Deluxe: $59/month (originally $65)

Note: Insurance plans are unavailable in ME, MT & RI. Members residing in CA, HI, MN, TN & WA will not be eligible for the 10% discount on Insurance plans.

How to Enroll

Eligible employees can enroll in Pet Benefits through their Justworks account in their Benefits Center, where they will find this page with more information and the next steps on how to activate the benefit, including an access code.

Note: Please note that wellness plans require a 12-month commitment.
