Why should I offer Peloton to my employees?
Upgrade your fitness benefits
Peloton is the largest interactive fitness platform in the world, with high-quality classes, skilled instructors, and millions of loyal members. Compete with industry leaders to attract and retain talent, with a corporate benefit usually reserved for larger organizations with 500+ employees.
Support employee well-being and performance
Help employees become the best versions of themselves, at work and at home. After joining Peloton, 78% of surveyed users reported they exercised more, 89% reported improved stress management, and 81% reported increased focus throughout the day.
Build community, in and out of the office
Schedule team classes, add a company tag, and high-five a coworker on the Leaderboard to foster team-building, connection, and employee engagement. With classes designed to benefit both the mind and body, there’s something for everyone — catering to different fitness levels, backgrounds, and preferences.
Maximize flexibility
Whether your team works remotely, in-person, or somewhere in between, employees can access Peloton anytime, anywhere. Our standard and premium tiers offer flexible pricing for varying budgets, and the integration of physical and mental well-being content means you can consolidate fitness and meditation point solutions.
How much does Peloton cost?
Employers can choose between two tiers, Standard or Premium, to decide how much your company will contribute towards employees' monthly membership – whichever you choose, your team will have the same access to the Peloton benefit. In addition to the company contribution and any applicable sales tax, there's a flat $1 access fee per eligible employee per month.
For example, say you have 10 eligible employees, 5 enroll, and you chose the Standard Tier. Your monthly cost would look like this:
$1 access fee x 10 eligible employees = $10
$10 company contribution x 5 enrolled employees = $50
Total monthly cost: $60/month
Review the table below for more details on pricing:
When can I expect to be billed, and how is it calculated?
Your company will be billed once a month, on the second semimonthly invoice of the month. Employers are billed for the number of employees that had an active Peloton membership the month prior to the billing date. In addition to the cost of the Peloton Membership employer contribution and any applicable sales tax, you will be billed a flat $1 access fee for each eligible employee every month, determined by the count of eligible employees on the first day of the month.
For example: If you enable Peloton on March 20th, you will be billed $1 for each eligible employee starting April 1st. Again, this charge will appear on your second semi monthly invoice for the month and you will not incur the access fee charge for the period of March 20th-31st. Employers participating in the early-bird sale with a February 6th effective date will see the access fee start on March 1st.
What is the difference between the App One Membership, the App+ Membership, and the All-Access Membership?
The Peloton App One Membership is free for employees through the Justworks partnership while the Peloton App+ and Peloton All-Access Memberships may incur an employee cost, depending on the employer’s contribution amount. In addition to differences in cost, there are differences in what Members have access to between the Memberships. See below for details on each Membership:
Company Enrollment
Our Peloton partnership is fully integrated into the Justworks platform, so employers can sign up to offer Peloton Membership at any time through their Justworks account here.
Making Changes
If you would like to change the employee eligibility or contribution tier, please reach out to Customer Support or your designated Customer Success Manager. To cancel the benefit offering after it has become available to employees, you can do so in your Justworks account here.
Please note, If you cancel or make changes prior to the 25th of the current month, it will go into effect the first of the following month. Anything changes made after the 25th of the current month, won’t go into effect until the month following the next immediate month. For example, if you make a change on February 7th, the effective date will be March 1st. But, if you make the change on February 28th, the effective date will be April 1st.
What can I do to help spread the word about Peloton?
We’ll make sure your employees know about Peloton and when they can start enrolling in the benefit, but there are lots of things you can do to encourage your employees to take advantage of this benefit too. We recommend updating your recruitment materials and employee resources to include all of the great perks you offer through Justworks (because why not get credit where it’s due!). You can even generate a Company Benefits Overview directly in Justworks to highlight all of your company’s benefits offerings, including Peloton.
Additionally, check out these Activation Toolkits for the Standard Contribution Tier and for the Premium Contribution Tier for sample templates you can use to introduce the Peloton benefit to your employees and promote it internally.
What happens when an employee is terminated from the company?
Employees who are terminated can continue to use their membership if they pay for it entirely for themselves. These employees will receive an email 3 days before their billing date to let them know their benefit is coming to an end. Employees on the App One plan that wish to keep their membership need to add a credit card to their account or their plan will be canceled. Employees on All-Access Memberships will receive 3 emails from Peloton–7 days, 3 days, and 1 day prior to their billing date letting them know they will be billed for the full amount of the benefit if they do not cancel their account.
