What is a Benefits Overview?
The Benefits Overview tool will allow you to share your company’s benefits offerings with a prospective hire. The tool will present plans, pricing, and basic explanations of the benefits you offer to help candidates make the decision to work for your company.
You can view how much your company and employees pay currently, by accessing the Plan History under the Benefits tab under HR on the navigation panel. You can also access it in the Benefits Overview section. If you want to see the amount you've contributed so far, you can create a custom payroll report.
How do I use it?
Go to your Company Benefits Center under HR > Benefits and click on “Benefits overview.” You can generate a custom Benefits Overview that is segmented by benefits class, inclusive of active or upcoming health coverage, and shows insurance plans specific to the candidate’s location. From there, you can preview the page and copy the link to share with prospective hires.
Will the overview get updated if I make changes to my benefits offering?
Yes! The overview will automatically be updated to reflect changes to your benefits offering under the same url.
It can even show upcoming benefits if you choose. For example, after the Plan Selection window closes and you've selected coverage for your team, an overview for the new plan year will be able to be generated before the effective date.
Distributing the overview:
As a link
The overview can be sent as a link that the prospective hire can use to view the overview. Click the Copy Link button to copy the link to the overview.
As a printout
Although the overview is best viewed as a .pdf or in a browser, you can also print for distribution. To open the overview, click the share icon (square with arrow symbol). This will open the overview and you can then proceed to print.
Please note, the overview will print best if printed using Google Chrome.
