This article is about Justworks EOR (Employer of Record). What product am I using?
Justworks’ billing process is designed to give you greater visibility into your service fees for international employees and help you manage costs with ease. Every month, you’ll receive a single invoice for all non-payroll Employer of Record (EOR) service fees, broken down by employee and country. This article provides answers to our most frequently asked questions about EOR billing.
What are Justworks’ fees?
Justworks EOR is generally $599/month per active international employee. For that price, we take on the legal responsibility of employing your international team — so you can scale globally without the cost, delays, and complexity of setting up a local entity, which can take months and tens of thousands of dollars.
Our EOR service gives you everything you need to compliantly manage your team across countries with ease, including payroll, benefits administration, and tools for PTO management, time tracking, and other daily workforce management tasks. Plus, you and your employees have access to our award-winning support team for guidance every step of the way.
How am I billed for EOR service fees?
Justworks EOR service fees are charged per employee per month. This covers all EOR services — including running payroll, benefits administration, and compliance support — and will appear on a dedicated EOR billing invoice. You’ll also see any applicable credits, and all fees will be clearly itemized by employee and by country.
When will I be billed?
Your estimated invoice will be available on the 1st of each month, and the finalized invoice will process on the 5th (or the next business day if the 5th falls on a weekend or holiday). The billing cycle covers the entire calendar month, from the 1st to the last day of the month.
How are new employees or mid-month changes handled?
If you add new employees after the 1st of the month, their fees will appear on the next month’s invoice — you’ll see two months of service fees at that time.
If an employee is terminated mid-month, you will be billed for that full month. If an employee was terminated retroactively and was not active during that billing cycle, you’ll receive a credit on your next invoice.
Why are EOR invoices separate from PEO, Payroll, and International Contractors?
EOR invoices are processed separately to comply with local requirements and to ensure your charges are detailed and easy to review. Breaking down invoices by employee and country provides the transparency customers appreciate and enables accurate, country-specific record keeping.
How can I access my EOR invoices?
You can view and download all EOR invoices as CSV files in the Invoices tab of your Justworks account. Customers who also use PEO, Payroll, and/or schedule International Contractor payments will find those invoices in the same section. More information on international invoices can be found in our How To View Your International Invoices Help Center article.
