This article is about Justworks PEO and Payroll. What product am I using?
If you’re already a member with a Justworks PEO or Payroll account, you can easily join another company without creating a brand new username. Using the same login credentials across companies will allow you to switch between company accounts without having to log out or keep track of multiple usernames.
Please note: this is only applicable when you’ve received an invite to join another company.
Looking to join a new company with the same username? Follow the steps below based on the type of account you currently have.
For Existing Justworks Users Joining a Justworks Payroll Company
If you have an existing Justworks account and were invited to join a company through Justworks Payroll, here's how to link the new company with your existing credentials:
1. Open the Invitation Link: Click the invitation link you received via email from the new company and select "Accept Invite."
2. Confirm You Have a Justworks Account: You’ll see a message asking, “Do you have an existing Justworks account?” Select “Yes, log in."
3. Log In Using Your Current Credentials: You’ll be redirected to the login screen. Enter your existing Justworks credentials and select “Log In” to continue.
4. Access Your New Payroll Account: After logging in, you’ll be taken to the Justworks Payroll home screen for your new company.
5. Toggle Between Accounts: To switch between your Justworks accounts, click the arrows next to the business name at the top left. A dropdown will appear showing all the company accounts linked to your profile. Simply click the account you’d like to access, and you’ll be redirected to your specific account associated with that company.
For Existing Users Joining a Justworks PEO Company
If you have been invited to join a company on Justworks PEO, you can link the new account to your existing login by following the steps below:
1. Open the Invitation Link: Click the invitation link you received from the new company and select “I already have an account.”
2. Log In Using Your Current Credentials: You’ll be redirected to the login screen. Enter your existing Justworks credentials and click “Log In” to continue.
3. Complete Required “To-Do” Items: Unlike Justworks Payroll, when joining Justworks PEO you will be prompted to complete a few onboarding tasks before you can access your dashboard. You’ll see a list of required items under your “To-Do” section—make sure to complete all of them.
4. Access Your New PEO Account: Once you’ve completed the necessary steps, you’ll be automatically redirected to your new PEO home screen.
5. Toggle Between Accounts: To switch back to your Payroll account (or any other linked company), click the upside-down triangle next to your initials in the top-right corner of the screen. A dropdown will appear showing all companies linked to your login. Just select the company you'd like to access, and you'll be taken directly to that account's dashboard.
